Our Story

Rooted in Newton,
Growing with You

The Plant Dealer started with a simple belief: everyone deserves to surround themselves with living beauty. What began as a passion for rare foliage has grown into Newton's most trusted destination for plants, planters, and plant wisdom.

We hand-select every specimen that comes through our doors — from easygoing pothos perfect for first-time owners to show-stopping alocasia for seasoned collectors. Our shelves are curated, not cluttered, so you always find exactly what your space needs.

Located on 1st Street North, we're more than a shop — we're your neighbors who happen to know an extraordinary amount about photosynthesis, soil pH, and how to keep your fiddle leaf fig from giving up on life.
